A Story of Unlikely Joy
Dates: Tuesday, March 19 – April 30 (7 weeks)
Time: 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.
Book Cost: $13
Author: Lisa Harper
Leader: Jeanne Giblin
Joy can’t always be found in friends, family or circumstances, but true joy … unfailing and persistent … overflows from the woman whose hope is in her God and whose hand is in her Savior’s. Just ask Job, the man from Uz who clung to God’s goodness while all his worldly joys were stripped away!
In this 7-session video/workbook study, Lisa will help us discover the redemptive facet of Job’s suffering as we learn to view pain as a way to strengthen our faith, point others to the gospel, and deepen our trust in Him whose grace is sufficient and can sustain us when everything else fails.
Homework commitment: One chapter (reading & discussion questions) per week (1-2 hours total)
La FORTALEZA de Dios en tu debilidad
Martes: 22 de enero al 26 de marzo (9 semanas)
Horario: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Costo: $13 (Para el Libro y Material)
Autor: Priscilla Shirer

Your weakness. God’s STRENGTH
(Childcare is limited!)
Date: Wednesday, March 20 – May 1 (7 weeks)
Time: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Book Cost: $13
Author: Priscilla Shirer
Leader: Laura Holifield
Gideon’s story involves far more than a wet fleece and a battle won with 300 soldiers. His epic victory actually tells of one man’s struggle with his own weakness—and the One True God who transformed it into triumph. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape our weaknesses, we are encouraged to see them as the gifts that they are; given specifically and strategically by God to unlock the door of HIS strength. Your weaknesses don’t stand a chance in the face of God’s overwhelming almighty power!
Homework Commitment: 5 lessons per week (approx. 20-30 minutes each)
DANIEL (Part 2): WORDS OF PROPHECY
Date: Wednesday, March 20 – April 24
Time: 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Cost: $16 (No additional book purchase for those who participated in Daniel – Part 1)
Author: Beth Moore
Leader: Jeanine Weber
In Part 2 (Chapters 7-12) of Daniel we’ll look at some of the most powerful and relevant passages of prophecy in all of Scripture! Through the strange dreams and supernatural visions of a prophet and king in ancient Babylon, God gives us amazing insights into TODAY’s headlines and a sense of the nearness of the return of Christ! But, we’ll primarily marvel at the unparalleled nature of our eternal God who created time and knows the end as well as the beginning, and who has told us all we need to know and IS all we’ll ever need! Through it all, we’ll find peace for all seasons and all circumstances, no matter how dark the world around us grows. Even if you’ve done this study before, you’ll be surprised at how these prophecies are even MORE exciting and relevant now!
PLEASE NOTE: Daniel (Part 1) is NOT a pre-requisite for this class.
Homework Commitment: 5 lessons per week/ 25-30 minutes each day
SHEPHERDING A CHILD’S HEART
(This study is offered specifically for moms of kids birth through Pre-K)
Date: January 23 – April 24 (7 sessions - every other week, alternating with Real Moms)
Time: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Book Cost: No Cost
Author: Tedd Tripp
Leader: Merideth Chambers
The things your child does and says flow from the heart. Luke 6:45 puts it this way: “… out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.” So, how can a mom speak the things of Christ to the very heart of her child?
Most books on parenting give you advice either on how to shape and constrain your children’s behavior or on how to make them feel good about themselves. But, this book contains something different. It teaches you how to engage children about what really matters and how to address your child’s heart by your words and actions. You will be blessed as you join other moms of preschoolers and discover what it means to follow God’s instructions and shepherd your child’s heart!
