How to Join

Welcome! We are so glad you’re interested in taking the next step to become a part of the Crossroads family. More than a box to check or a status to obtain, church membership involves a conscious commitment to a specific context: a people, a place, and a purpose. As Scripture states, each local church has a unique role to play in the Body, the universal Church (1 Corinthians 12:12-14, 27; Romans 12:4-5). All are welcome to call Crossroads “home” and embrace Crossroads as a local magnification of the Body of Christ.

At Crossroads, we provide simple steps for you to take as you grow in your relationship with God. The path to become a member at Crossroads includes:

Step 1: Crossroads Connection

We invite you to attend our Crossroads Connection. This one-time class is a basic introduction designed to clearly explain who we are and what we believe. Although attendance is required for membership, you are not obligated to become a member after attending. Connection classes are held the first Sunday of each month at 10:45 a.m. (C-116). No registration is required to attend.

Step 2: Join By…

You will be given the opportunity during the Connection class to become a member in the following ways:

Transfer of Letter - You are currently a member of a Baptist church with similar beliefs as ours.

Statement of Faith - You are a follower of Christ, and you have been baptized by immersion as a believer.

Baptism - You are professing your faith in Jesus as Savior and desire baptism, or you have previously professed your faith in Jesus and desire baptism. Contact Becky Conway and schedule your baptism.

Crossroads extends a time of invitation at the end of each Sunday worship service for decisions to be made public. You are NOT required to participate in the public invitation time to complete your membership process.

Connect - We believe there is no substitute for close-knit, deep-in-the-trenches type of community. We all need to experience spiritual growth and accountability in the context of small groups where people intimately know one another. Contact Pastor Stan Sullinger and learn more about joining a Sunday morning Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) Group or an off-site Home Group.

Give - Our members are committed to financially support Crossroads Baptist Church. Online giving is available at

Serve - Our members are committed to serve and know why they are serving. Learn more about ways to serve at or visit with one of our pastors and learn how you can serve in each ministry.

Every member is active in ministry at Crossroads, and it is the vision of our leadership to make disciples who are making disciples.
