Our goal is for children to see the BIG picture of the Bible in 2012. Because all of Crossroads will be studying how to read the Bible through in 2012, we are going to be introducing some new curriculum to aid us in our chronological study of God's Word.  We want kids to understand how it all fits together - from Creation to the Resurrection. Our Kids Worship time is called Journey and includes worship and offering but also a very structured time of learning God's Word. We will do this differently depending on the age of the children.

 

Kindergarten-3rd Grade JOURNEY, Sundays @ 8:45 a.m.

For children in Kindergarten - 3rd grade, we'll be using What's In The Bible as a foundational curriculum. What's In The Bible, a video series created by VeggieTales founder Phil Vischer, is an outstanding resource for kids that teaches biblical concepts and stories in a way that children can easily understand. Our study will include large group time for worship and video lessons with some additional teaching by our large group team, as well as small group time for your child with review questions and prayer time. The What's In The Bible's website also includes some fantastic resources for parents, as well as further study activities for your kids.

4th-6th Grade JOURNEY, Sundays @ 10:30 a.m.

For our 4th-6th graders, we'll be utilizing the Children Desiring God curriculum during Journey. This will involve detailed Bible study and will focus on personal application.

K-3rd Sundays @ 10:30 a.m.
During Bible Study, we plant the seed of Biblical truths into the fertile soil of each kid's heart. Then, we teach them how these truths can be applied in their everyday lives.

4th-6th Sundays @ 8:45 a.m.
Sunday morning Bible Study provides preteens with the opportunity to learn more about God in a more intimate setting. Classes are fun and interactive, with a lesson that is both interesting to preteens and relevant to their lives and the world around them. The kids spend time laughing, playing games, and getting to know one another while also learning about the love of Christ.
